School Development

The Zion schools currently provide education for over 300 children including a Nursery School. 50% of the pupils are from a background where they would not otherwise go to school due the poverty of their parents or guardians. Their fees are supported by the other 50% of fee paying pupils and, until recently, FHMI. After 5 years of support FHMI nursery-school-babies-ceremonial-uniformsThese children came into our schools from the Baby Rescue Centre. They don't stay babies for very long. Here they are in their ceremonial uniformrecently passed the school back to the Zion Church.

    The current centre now has 30 babies and toddlers in residence, everyone a little miracle of survival. 2 recent admissions were both diagnosed with a form of Cerebral Palsy.
