4x4 Mobile Medical Clinic and Outreach Vehicle

We have just completed the purchase of our first mobile medical clinic and outreach vehicle. It is a Toyota 4Runner 4x4 which is big enough to carry medical equipment as part of our outreach in to villages as well as 5 people.

Mobile Medical and Outreach Vehicle

It is a 3 litre, air-conditioned, turbo diesel Toyota 4Runner. It is even large enough to carry a stretcher in the back! Toyota is one of the most reliable and common vehicles in Sierra Leone so parts are readily available. This is the same type and model used by the UN.

The vehicle will also be used to advance all aspects of FHMI's ministry. We plan to expand the gospel outreach programme to the villages that are hard to get to. We will be using it to transport generator, video projector, amplifier and speakers for showing the Jesus film and follow-up preaching of the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Many thanks to New Life Church in Brigg, North Lincolnshire for their significant contribution. New Life's pastor, Alec Depledge, will be travelling with David Craig on a project assessment trip to Sierra Leone in October 2006.

The mobile medical clinic will be based at our Operations Centre in Bo.
